In Baghdad today, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi met with Kuwaiti Ambassador Salem Al-Zamanan to discuss bilateral relations. An official statement was issued by the office of the Speaker. The two countries discussed strengthening their bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields.
Al-Halbousi praised the outgoing ambassador’s contribution to this field during his tenure in Iraq and wished him success in his future endeavors. Kuwait’s departing ambassador to Iraq, Hani Al-Zamanan, thanked the Speaker of the House of Representatives, expressing Kuwait’s determination to continue to support Iraq in all fields and in the long-term interests of their two countries.
